COVID-19, October 2020 update
The Trustees temporarily paused some of the Foundation’s work in Zimbabwe because schools were closed and the lockdown prevented our Project Manager in Zimbabwe carrying out vital oversight of our projects. Some schools have now re-opened and others have planned dates for return. We intend to continue our current sponsorship commitments.
We have used this period as an opportunity to review and restructure the Foundation in order to refocus our efforts to grow the ZIPS programme and to reinforce our resilience in the face of economic uncertainties in the UK and Zimbabwe. It’s clear that Zimbabwe’s children will need our help even more as the country, with the rest of the world, rebuilds and adjusts over the next few years.
Please consider subscribing to our newsletter to be kept up to date with the Foundation’s work and events and if you would like to sponsor a child’s education please email us for more details.
